A leading, international and attractive Lloyd's of London Broker, who has a glowing reputation within the current market, now have an exciting position within the company's International Construction Division. Our client is now seeking a skilled and driven Broker (or Account Handler looking to step up) to facilitate the placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering exceptional client service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on designated risks within the dynamic International Construction sector, biased towards North American Risks.
This is a client and market facing Broker role, where you will be collaborating with the team to assist with the management and growth of a portfolio on Construction Risks. You will be providing a first class service, whilst building and maintaining client and market relationships, negotiating terms with Underwriters and placing complex risks. Business travel may be required as and when.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 18 months to 7 years of London Market experience (due to the budget and balance of the team)
- Experience in US Construction Risks (US Property individuals will also be considered)
- Lloyd's Broking experience (either as Broker, Broker Tech / Account Handler or Account Executive)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to network and develop/maintain client and market relationships
