About the mechanical design engineer position: You will work within a friendly engineering team, reporting to the engineering manager; duties to include:
- Designing and developing mechanical components and systems from concept to production.
- Creating detailed 2D & 3D SolidWorks models, drawings and specifications.
- Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
- Working closely with manufacturing, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless product development.
- Conducting prototype testing and validation, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical recommendations.
What you'll need to apply for the mechanical design engineer position:
- An HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Well-developed 3D CAD skills.
- Experience in both engineering and aesthetic design elements.
- Project management experience.
