We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and inspire our sales team at Kenwood Travel. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and Operations teams to align sales efforts with broader business goals. With your passion for travel and proven track record in sales leadership, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of Kenwood Travel.
- Create and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, improve conversion rates, and grow market share in the 4* and luxury 5* holiday market.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve targets and KPIs.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones and performance reviews.
- Monitor team performance through call listening, sales coaching, and addressing customer complaints.
- Evaluate and implement technology and sales tools to improve lead management, sales processes, and reporting efficiency.
- Analyse sales data to provide monthly reports on conversion rates and performance metrics.
- Improve repeat business rates and customer referrals by building loyalty and enhancing service quality.
- Ensure the sales team is aligned with marketing campaigns, effectively communicating offers and product focuses to customers.
- Participate in regular management meetings to provide insights and updates on sales performance and forecasts.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field (preferred).
Proven success in the 4* and luxury 5* travel market, with first-hand industry knowledge.
Extensive experience leading sizeable sales teams.
Exceptional analytical skills, people management skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools.
Experience in coaching and mentoring travel consultants to achieve sales targets.
Familiarity with Galileo GDS or similar, including sourcing competitive flight and accommodation packages.
