The Role: Key Account Manager (Automotive Channel)

Location: Remote with travel.

Join our dynamic team as a Key Account Manager and drive sales growth across leading automotive groups! We are seeking a proactive professional to explore new business opportunities with regional motor factors, fast-fit centres, and commercial automotive organisations. You will engage directly with end-user automotive companies, providing on-site technical support and training.

Your mission:

  • Maximise opportunities for new product listings and capture competitive business in the Automotive Power Tools sector, with a focus on achieving 85% penetration and adding value with Hand Tools.
  • Spend 2-3 days a week working with national accounts, supporting branch-level initiatives and end-user workouts.
  • Design and implement account development plans for the automotive channel.
  • Maintain high levels of awareness of market and competitor activity, customer trends and provide feedback to Business Unit Controllers and team members.
  • Maintain a database of account information containing contacts, product range, pricing and margins.
  • Monitor procedures to provide the best possible customer service.
  • Effectively manage the available sales time and account activity to deliver the desired performance.
  • Gain maximum account penetration and distribution of new products.

You care about quality – at every level. Experience managing at key account level, involving the handling of senior account relationships – experienced buyers/sales managers and contractors.

Key Account knowledge/experience is essential. Understanding of Automotive is an advantage.

Driver’s license required.
