The role of the Compliance Officer Mortar, Screed & Cement Products will involve:
- Dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render.
- Overseeing & continuing to develop the ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems, arranging internal and 3rd party audits and assisting management with improvements arising from those.
- Generating Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided).
- Submitting relevant information on environmental duties to the regulator, such as packaging waste data.
- Generating CE marks for the products, with support from the QC and management.
- Creating COSHH risk assessments for materials handled in the factory.
- Supervising the QC lab technician and providing cover on basic testing.
The ideal applicant will be a Compliance Officer Mortar, Screed & Cement Products with:
- Compliance experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience dealing with related products such as cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins.
- A degree level education with a background in science.
- A positive, energetic and confident personality.
- Being driven, organised and personable.
