We are looking for a skilled Garage Equipment Engineer to join a long-established and well-respected name in the garage equipment industry. This is a field-based role with a great mix of hands-on technical work, national travel, and customer interaction.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of essential garage equipment including:

  • Vehicle lifts
  • Brake testers
  • Compressors
  • Wheel balancers & tyre changers
  • And more

No two days are the same, and you will be trusted to manage your workload with the support of a close-knit, expert team behind you.

What you will be doing:

  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and system faults on-site
  • Carrying out scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Managing van stock levels and ordering replacement parts when needed
  • Communicating clearly with customers and providing technical support where required
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting back to management

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Garage Equipment sector
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Basic IT confidence (tablets, service reports, etc.) - training provided if needed
  • Full UK driving licence (clean)
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays
