We are looking for an experienced HV Service Technician to work on both offshore and onshore projects. The contract is initially 6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • HV Servicing and troubleshooting up to 33kV
  • Servicing of equipment such as CTs, VTs, transformers and switch gear
  • Troubleshooting on HV Equipment
  • Assisting and helping with the retrofits on the obsolete equipment/parts
  • Maintenance on HV equipment
  • Replacement of components such as switch gear and transformers
  • Monitoring of tests
  • Assisting with electrical testing on the equipment
  • Applying electrical safety throughout

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in offshore wind, networks, power stations, battery storage or oil and gas.
  • 2-3 years experience working as a HV technician
  • Solid electrical background
  • Experience and understanding of a range of different models and products: Transformers, switch gear etc.
  • Must have WEIZ training

Logistics:

  • Outside IR35
  • 12 hours per day
  • 6 month contract
  • 2/2 rotation
  • CTV
  • Travel and accommodation covered
