People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay:
- Basic: £18.00 per hour
- Sunday (Bank Holiday): £27.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties:
- Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
Training:
- Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
- After successful Assessment, there will be a two day paid induction
