Here at GXO, we're working together with B&Q and are looking for highly experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers (C1) or Class 2 Drivers to join our Store to Home team in Hermiston Gate, Edinburgh (EH11 3DG). You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an any 5 days out of 7 shift pattern, contracted to 40 hours per week, with start times between 07:00 and 11:00. This role will require flexibility as you will be working on a 4 week rota pattern (provided in advance) including weekends.

- Your Annual salary will depend on the type of licence that you hold: C1 - £29,140.80, Class 2 - £29,681.60
- An additional £5.50 per hour when working on Sunday

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Work as a part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multi-drop basis - an average of 16 drops per day off-peak and 24 drops per day in peak season
- Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
- Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receives the correct products and delivery documentation
- Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur, communicate with them in a polite and courteous manner
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in multi-drop, store deliveries is preferable but not essential
- A full UK driving licence with category C1 or Class 2 Entitlement
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
- Be prepared to commute to Hermiston Gate, Edinburgh (EH11 3DG) for the required shift pattern
