Note: this is a hybrid role with 2 days per week based in our Head Office, Abingdon, Oxon.
There will be plenty of opportunity to push and challenge yourself and we are keen for someone to pick up and run with ideas and initiatives dear to them (with support from the wider team) on specialist subjects, such as EDI, Engagement, etc.
This role will partner, support, really get to know and be the first point of contact for all things HR for our Retail part of the business, so a background working with Sales, Marketing and Customer facing teams would be an advantage. You will provide them with both operational and strategic HR support and will line manage a HR Advisor.
You will be an experienced HR professional and manager, used to dealing with employee relations matters and operating as a partner to the business, bringing a deep understanding of employment law and HR best practice. CIPD qualifications would be advantageous and you would require a driving licence and vehicle in order to visit other sites.

In the first instance we would love to discuss how you influence and appropriately challenge senior stakeholders, make sound considered judgements, whilst creating a people first culture.
