The role of the Compliance Officer will involve:
- Dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render
- Overseeing & continuing to develop the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems, arranging internal and 3rd party audits and assisting management with improvements arising from those
- Generating Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided)
- Submitting relevant information on environmental duties to the regulator, such as packaging waste data
- Generating CE marks for the products, with support from the QC and management
- Creating COSHH risk assessments for materials handled in the factory
- Supervising the QC lab technician and providing cover on basic testing
The ideal applicant will have:
- Compliance experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
- Experience dealing with related products such as cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins
- A degree level education with a background in science
- Positive, energetic and confident personality
- Driven, organised and personable approach
