Position: Full-Time Team Manager

Location: Mental Health Service, Sheffield

Contract: Short-term (3 months, subject to review)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £20 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager for our 24-hour Mental Health Service in Sheffield. The role requires on-site presence from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. The candidate will also participate in the on-call rota (one week in four), with a supplementary payment of £20 per on-call shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the mental health service team.
  • Collaborate with the on-site team leader.
  • Ensure high-quality care and support for individuals with mental health diagnoses, including complex needs and forensic histories.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours service from 17:00 to 09:00.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of mental health, including the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and recovery care pathways.
  • Extensive experience in managing direct care and support services for individuals with mental health diagnoses.
  • Proven people management skills and team leadership experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and effective strategies to meet their support needs.
