Pricing Lead sought for by a market-leading insurer. Our client is seeking a candidate who has knowledge of UK Defined Benefit Pensions and reinsurance structures to join them as a Pricing Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary or qualified by experience to join a market-leading insurer as a Pricing Lead.

Responsibilities of the Pricing Lead:

  • Reviewing the preparation and analysis of Defined Benefit (DB) pension scheme data for pricing purposes
  • Verifying the modelling of cash flows for DB pension schemes through valuation systems.
  • Providing support and guidance to junior team members.

Experience of the Pricing Lead:

  • Familiarity with Defined Benefit Pension schemes in the UK and reinsurance frameworks.
  • Comprehension of actuarial principles associated with annuity pricing and assessment.
  • Capability to work autonomously.
