Role summary: The Residential site service engineer carries out the tasks related to supporting the Mitsubishi Electric range of residential products and solutions. The main focus of the role will be on Planned preventative maintenance and fault finding and repair works. Additional areas will be:
- Warranty works
- Remedial works
- Unit replacements & system upgrades
- Emergency call outs
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Domestic Heating & Plumbing (6189) or demonstrable heating industry experience
- Good knowledge of the U.K. heating industry
- Good knowledge of U.K. building and water regulations
- G3 Domestic Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Electrical qualifications – (Part P or Equivalent)
Skills/Responsibilities: To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Perform all activities in-line with high customer service centricity, department standards and company principles.
- Achieve high levels of maintenance, repair and system upgrade standards
- Provide clear problem solving and remedial works suggestions with effective and clear conclusions and recommendations
- Wherever possible, carry out a “first time fix”
- Produce concise, well written technical reports that are submitted on time and in full.
- Achieve high levels of H&S compliance in line with company and industry requirements
- Effectively problem solve on the customer’s behalf
- Proactively maintain a high level of product knowledge on all aspects of the LES Residential product range.
