We are excited to assist a leading manufacturing company in recruiting a Health & Safety Graduate. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and further their career in the health and safety field within a dynamic and growing industry.

Position: Permanent (Full-Time, Monday - Friday)

Role Overview: As a Health & Safety Graduate, you will be immersed in a variety of tasks related to ensuring workplace safety across the company's operations. You will assist in implementing and monitoring safety protocols, contributing to creating a safe environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the development and update of health and safety policies and risk management procedures
- Assist in conducting regular site audits and safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and internal policies
- Support investigations into accidents, near misses, and incidents, compiling findings and recommending corrective actions
- Help maintain health and safety documentation, including training records, incident logs, and safety data sheets
- Assist in organising safety training sessions, including inductions for new hires to ensure full compliance with safety protocols
- Monitor and evaluate safety performance metrics, ensuring that operations adhere to safety regulations
- Contribute to identifying potential workplace hazards, assisting in the development of strategies to minimise risks
- Stay informed on the latest health and safety legislation to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and best practices
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and ready for internal or external audits
- Provide support to the Training Officer to keep training matrices accurate and current
