About the Role: REED HR NI is delighted to support our client on the recruitment of an experienced HR Generalist to join their dynamic HR team. This key role involves providing professional HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the organisation, and the HR Generalist will ensure that HR policies, procedures, and initiatives are effectively implemented, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Collaborate with the hiring team to ensure effective staffing processes, manage the onboarding process for new employees, oversee the offboarding process for departing employees.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, assist managers with employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and grievances, advise on managing workplace absences and support policy implementation.
  • Employee Experience: Guide managers through the performance review process, promote workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, participate in HR projects to enhance the employee experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, contribute to the development and updating of HR policies, support initiatives to increase employee engagement and satisfaction, propose improvements to HR workflows to increase automation.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and monitor HR metrics, prepare comprehensive HR reports and document meeting notes.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Proven experience in supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Desirable Criteria:

  • CIPD Part or Fully Qualified.
  • 3rd level qualification in HR or a Business-related discipline.

This role follows a hybrid working pattern, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office after successful probation.
