Honeycomb is delighted to be assisting a highly credible charity with the recruitment of a Full-Time, Permanent 'Strategic Development Manager'. Competitive package, free parking & wider benefits. Located in Derry/L'Derry.
The Client - This widely accredited & funded organisation operates distinctly for the purpose of protecting its demographic of service users (women and girls). It provides a range of services throughout its provision in the form of a range of projects and schemes/programmes.
The Role - Reporting to the Chief Executive, this post was established to fulfil the elements of the strategic plan which involve the growth and development of the organisation for the future. The role will provide support in taking forward opportunities to enhance the current services throughout a wider basis. The post-holder will also be responsible for the generation of ideas, stakeholder and relationship management and increasing the reach of the services via the means of generating new funding opportunities. A creative role in which the post-holder will be expected to manage others and to work collegiately with other staff within the organisation.
The Person - The successful candidate will be a self-driven individual who is skilled in identifying new business opportunities, can generate and maintain relationships with funders, and develop successful partnerships with others who understand and are committed to the work of the charity. With 2+ years' experience throughout a similar role, the candidate would possess experience throughout project management including grants applications and have budgetary / financial management report writing experience.
