The Role
You'll play a key role in the general practice team, managing financial accounts and taxation needs for a varied portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
- Managing month-end and period-end deadlines effectively.
- Ensuring smooth workflow, accurate billing, and efficient client service.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with current tax legislation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CAI, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge in income tax, corporation tax, and related compliance.
- Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging directly with clients.
