A market leading manufacturing business, aggressively driving procurement maturity and scaling their strategic sourcing function, now seeks a strong CAPEX & Manufacturing procurement professional to join their β¬1bn global packaging procurement function in Amsterdam. The primary mission of the role is to manage complex CAPEX procurement projects and improve processes that underpin all packaging procurement.
You will lead on CAPEX sourcing and own the delivery of the packaging procurement roadmap including sourcing & onboarding suppliers, working cross-functionally with engineering and capital projects teams to drive cost savings as the business rapidly invests in new initiatives.
The role is ideal for an experienced procurement professional who is looking to join a business and drive procurement continuous improvement, lead large CAPEX sourcing projects and support the development of the overall maturity of the packaging procurement function in a business enjoying a strong period of growth.
CAPEX & Manufacturing Procurement Manager, role responsibilities:- Lead large-scale CAPEX procurement programmes, devise and implement innovative global strategies.
- Design and implement new processes for procurement and stakeholder teams.
- Analyse systems and processes, drive reporting and KPI tracking.
- Drive the adoption of procurement technologies (ERP Systems) across the business to facilitate long-term, positive change.
- Regional or Global experience is essential.
- Strong subject matter expertise within CAPEX sourcing and packaging procurement.
- Experience working in businesses with complex stakeholder structures preferred.
- Strong project management experience and the ability to influence at senior levels.
