Logistics Operative

Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client based in Langport. They are looking for Packing Operatives to join a friendly team. Temp – Perm position to start as soon as possible. Main duties include: – Stack trays onto pallets as per customer requirements – Lift and handle trays with an average weight of 22kg per tray – Work efficiently in a fast-paced, cold storage environment – Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment – Assist with general warehouse duties as required Ideal candidates will have the following: -Ability to handle repetitive heavy lifting (up to 22kg per tray) -Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment -Strong attention to detail and ability to work at speed -Team player with a good work ethic and reliable attendance -Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – full training provided Skills: As part of our recruitment process our client offer factory tours most days of the week, so please feel free to get in contact for a general chat about the job and book in for a tour.
