The Business Development Director Private Wealth will be responsible for driving the growth of our private wealth division. This role involves the promotion of the Suntera brand and our comprehensive suite of private wealth and family office services to a broad range of intermediaries and business introducers, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for our Private Wealth Division.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the private wealth sector, exceptional networking skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Responsibilities- Working with divisional colleagues based in Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man and the Head of Intermediaries, develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets using business contacts, personal network and industry events and other avenues of income generation.
- Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with a broad range of professional intermediaries and industry partners in London and further afield.
- Promote the Suntera brand, championing the unique service proposition of the Group through regular ongoing interaction with key intermediaries and the introduction of relevant Suntera specialists as appropriate.
- Working together with experienced colleagues, develop innovative solutions that meet the increasingly complex, jurisdictionally agnostic requirements of international family offices, UHNWIs and their families.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, building relationships with new contacts, and spotting opportunities to promote Suntera Global.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to intermediaries and prospective clients; contribute to the wider marketing effort.
- Accurately monitor and report on business development activities and results in a timely manner, for effective and accurate financial reporting.
- Experience in business development with a professional/financial services environment and ideally within the trust and fiduciary services and family office sector.
- Degree level or equivalent; a business or financial qualification would be advantageous or relevant professional qualification.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets to achieve maximum business growth.
- Ability to negotiate successful deals and influence people.
- Proactive and resilient, with excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
- Credible and confident with good communication and presentation skills.
- High level of motivation with the ability to work independently contributing personally to the Group’s aspirational growth targets.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
