Our team is seeking an ambitious and driven Solutions Engineer who will support a main UK partner and contribute to driving the regional strategy. You will be surrounded by a team who support each other with a strong team working demeanour in the pursuit of overachieving against target. The team is mixed of earlier in career and senior SE talent. You will have the opportunity to mentor others in the team and to help guide them on their career journey as part of this incredible team.
Your Impact
In this partner-facing opportunity you will be establishing relationships with both Business and Technical decision makers, aligning Cisco's portfolio to meet the customer's needs and position Cisco's product and services portfolio. You will conduct technical presentations, showcase Cisco Enterprises solutions and services, set up demonstrations explaining features and benefits to your customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, systems engineering, or technical consulting roles with presentation and communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Deep understanding of Cisco’s core technologies (Networking, Security, Data Center, Collaboration, and Cloud solutions).
- Plus an understanding of multi-cloud, automation (Ansible, Terraform, Python), and software-defined architectures would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and consultative skills, with experience in handling complex pre-sales engagements.
- Experience working with channel partners, VARs, and system integrators to build relationships and influence decision-making within partner organisations.
- Prior experience in solution selling and designing end-to-end architectures for enterprise customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching, Security, Data Center, or Enterprise).
- DevNet Professional/Expert (for automation and programmability).
- AWS/Azure certifications (for cloud expertise).
