An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a well-regarded and expanding legal team based near Dudley. This full-time position offers a varied and engaging caseload across both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice and representation to a diverse client base, including individuals and businesses of varying sizes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on a wide range of employment law matters, including employment contracts, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance procedures, TUPE, and tribunal claims
- Managing contentious matters from initial consultations to representation in employment tribunals
- Issuing tribunal claims and engaging in ACAS Early Conciliation processes
- Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
- Delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal solutions
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments to ensure exceptional client service
Candidate Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in employment law, with employment matters as a primary area of practice
- Strong technical expertise across both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently and work effectively within a team
- Proficiency in negotiation and drafting
