We’re looking for exceptional Senior Consultants, with proven Change and Transformation experience and a strong knowledge of the Banking Industry to join us on our growth journey and help us build a better working world for our clients, colleagues, and society at large.
The opportunity: We live in a changing world, a change that has accelerated massively over the last few years. Businesses have recognised this need to evolve and transform. As a member of our Banking Transformation team, you’ll be working with some of the most recognisable names within the Industry, helping them to deliver on projects focused on addressing their most significant challenges. We’re assisting banks to operate better, faster, cheaper, safer, and more sustainably. We do this by designing and improving processes, operating models, business architecture and customer experience.
Your key responsibilities:
- Working with key stakeholders in our client base to understand the challenges that face their businesses and helping to tailor a solution to address these.
- Support the design and delivery of complex operational improvement and business transformation projects on engagements for key Banking clients – covering areas such as process improvement, journey design and operating model transformation.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and deliver impactful presentations to keep them abreast of the progress of the project.
- Support with proposals and bids for new clients.
Skills and attributes for success: We’re looking for people who can demonstrate experience designing and delivering change and transformation projects within the Banking marketplace. You’re likely to have a strong track record in transformation delivery, with an ability to develop and deliver high-quality output against project objectives and meet tight deadlines. Aligned with these technical skills you’ll have the natural curiosity to understand current processes, matched with a desire to initiate and effect strategic change across front, middle and back office. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas and findings clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders.
To qualify for the role you should be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:
- Previous experience working in transformation and change within the Banking industry.
- Strong track record in project delivery, and/or an ability to develop and deliver high-quality output against project objectives and meet tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of the banking value chain, including Origination, Onboarding, Customer Servicing, Product Management and Risk Management.
- Experience in the design and development of new operating models, including an understanding of how Digital Transformation and the key applications and technology platforms that underpin this are affecting the Banking industry.
- Excellent client stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- The natural desire to be part of a team and to support, encourage and share knowledge with colleagues.
- The ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues and provide on-the-job training.
- Commitment to actively engaging with our D&I agenda and championing social purpose-driven change.
- Experience with Agile product ownership or experience in a scrum master role.
- Relevant professional qualifications would be great, but not essential.
- Ability to work under limited supervision in unstructured environments.
What we look for: You’ll be a trusted business advisor to our clients, specialising within Business Transformation, so they’ll look to you to ask and answer the questions nobody else has asked yet and then develop and execute an effective solution. If you’re ready to take on a wide range of responsibilities and are committed to build a better working world by helping organisations deliver most effectively and efficiently, whilst simultaneously gaining skills to develop a career in professional services, this role is for you.
What we offer: We offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance. Our comprehensive Total Rewards package includes support for flexible working and career development, and with FlexEY you can select benefits that suit your needs, covering holidays, health and well-being, insurance, savings and a wide range of discounts, offers and promotions.
