They are currently looking to add a Buyer and a Senior Buyer to their team, to work across a number of indirect categories. We are looking for people who enjoy rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in where needed……. Real team players! The main purpose of these roles is to ensure that all GNFR contracts across the wider group are cost effective, appropriate, sufficiently flexible to meet future requirements, simple and enforceable with clear KPIs. Some experience of buying IT, Marketing, Travel, FM or logistics would be great. RFI/RFP and Contracts experience is a must. Main Responsibilities: Lead negotiator for small/medium/Large contracts, and support negotiations for complex contracts. Ongoing reduction and control of annual spend across the group. Provide commercial, contractual and negotiation support. Manage contractual relationships with suppliers and internal customers during the contracting process. Preparation and review of contract schedules to enable a timeline view of workload activity. Key Skills / Competencies / Qualifications: Commercial contract and negotiation skills. Contract Law and contract drafting experience. Influencing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate/Advanced level capability in using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams. Ability to communicate at all levels. Ability to operate to tight deadlines. Strong commercial awareness.
