We are seeking a QA Officer to join our growing team here at Paddock Wood, Kent. Our site is at the forefront of liquid hops research and development. With one mission, to push the boundaries of brewing. We’re committed to creating more efficient, sustainable, and creative brewing solutions, from researching new hop varieties to perfecting extraction methods for maximum aroma and intensity, because we believe every brewer should have access to the latest tools, technologies, and support necessary to push the boundaries and create truly unforgettable beer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and ensure compliance with QMS documentation, ensuring alignment with legal and company standards.
- Support preparation for customer, internal, BRC, and third-party audits, including traceability and production process reviews.
- Produce quality data and reports, measuring performance against set standards.
- Monitor non-conformance and drive corrective and preventive actions following audits, incidents, and complaints.
- Approve new suppliers, manage supplier quality, and oversee allergen validations and CCP validations annually.
- Support review of HACCP processes, facilitate risk assessments, and maintain the Quality Manual.
- Manage customer complaints, liaise with customers, and implement corrective actions to sustain satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation, paperwork, and product labelling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure staff are trained to meet competency standards and escalate additional training needs.
- Complete incident reports, follow-ups, and ensure timely resolution of corrective and preventative actions.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing in a Quality or Production environment.
- Understanding of food safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, IT skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
