We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Early Help Coordinator , on a 2-month contract , highly likely to be extended at client\’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £22.28 – £28.86 per hour
Responsibilities:
- To ensure at all times that children and their families are at the heart of service provision and development across the partnerships.
- Use negotiating and influencing skills to identify and enable different agencies to undertake lead professional responsibilities, and provide advice, guidance and support to those professionals to undertake this responsibility.
- This includes modelling the skills and attitudes that promote and foster children, young person and family centred working and the development of trust between practitioners.
- To provide training, guidance and advice to individuals completing FARPs and to act as a quality assurance agent, as well as delivery of FARP training to a broad range of audiences.
- To undertake reviews of FARPs to ensure that progress is occurring to plan and timescales.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 4) in a setting associated with children, young people, and families, or substantial equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
- Proven track record in supporting families requiring early help.
- Experience working in multi-agency environments and facilitating coordinated service delivery.
- Experience in conducting assessments and analysing needs.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
