The Role

In this Business Development Executive role, you will be joining a high-growth business within our Corporate FX Sales team. You will be responsible for sourcing suitable corporate clients, bringing in highly lucrative deals and in turn, unlocking an industry-leading commission structure. You will be working with your Senior Head of Desk to help you develop the skills to close high-value opportunities as you pursue your FX sales career. To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills as you’ll be interacting with C-level executives and forging mutually beneficial business relationships on an ongoing basis.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing and generating new business
  • Developing relationships with new corporate clients
  • Ability to close some leads without senior support
  • Orchestrating the smooth opening of new accounts
  • Maintaining a focus on goals and results whilst striving to exceed targets
  • Developing a solid understanding of both the financial and foreign exchange sectors
  • Exhibiting high levels of professionalism when developing new business connections

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in FX sales within a FX broker or bank
  • Strong understanding of Spot & Forward FX, good understanding of FX Options
  • Flawless communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Tenacity, ambition, and resilience
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proven track record of working and thriving within a target-driven environment
  • Ability to work well within a tight-knit team
  • Commitment to providing first-class customer service
  • Must be highly motivated
