About Our Client: Permanent People are currently representing a leading independent executive search firm located in the City of London, who specialise in Board Advisory roles across the UK and Internationally. Our client is in growth mode and can offer full autonomy in the role and a great working environment. There is an experienced team of Search professionals in place currently, and due to rapid growth, our client is looking to hire at Consultant level to focus on the delivery of mandates.
Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Search Consultant to join their team to concentrate on the execution and delivery of searches. You will own the complete cycle of the search, from strategy through to the interviewing of relevant applicants yourself. There will be candidate ownership, and you will be involved in the client briefings. Business development would be something on offer further down the line but is not needed for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery search process, from client engagement to candidate placement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates within Board Advisory.
- Conduct thorough research to identify and target top-tier talent.
- Utilise various sourcing methods to attract high-calibre candidates, including headhunting, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Conduct detailed interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability and fit.
- Provide expert advice to clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Negotiate offers and manage the hiring process to ensure a seamless experience for both clients and candidates.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retained search recruitment, preferably from a global firm or a leading independent search business.
- Entrepreneurial attitude to recruitment.
- Understanding of the industry, including key trends, major players, and have a network.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-level searches simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to quickly understand client needs and market dynamics.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
