SENCare Recruitment are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to work for a Specialist school in Bromley, Kent.
About us: SENCare Recruitment is a niche recruitment agency that provides Special Educational Needs (SEN) professionals for SEN schools, mainstream schools, residential care homes, and 1-1 home support through local authorities across the UK. We offer short/long term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners, and mid-day meal supervisors.
Start: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 - 4:00pm - Mon- Fri
The ideal candidate will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated English lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Develop a supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour, respect, and a growth mindset.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Use innovative approaches to help students with learning disabilities overcome barriers to learning and achieve their best outcomes.
- Have a clear Enhanced child checked DBS.
Main duties:
- Hold a teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have an excellent track record of teaching GCSE English.
- Exhibit excellent classroom practice/presence.
- Show enthusiasm and drive for working in a Special School.
