The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to lead technical work on projects, navigate complex client relationships, and deliver innovative data solutions. Sitting at the intersection of Data Analytics, Software Development, and Data Engineering, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping QuantSpark’s approach to data-driven decision-making.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing scalable data pipelines, leading technical execution, and mentoring junior team members. You’ll also collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions—all while driving innovation in analytics engineering practices.

What You’ll Own

• Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines using tools like dbt and Airflow.
• Client Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to identify challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
• Data Excellence: Transform raw data into actionable datasets for predictive analytics and SaaS products.
• Innovation: Explore new ways of working with data, ensuring high-quality outputs through automation and testing frameworks.
• Mentorship: Coach junior team members and champion best practices in software engineering and analytics.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in analytics engineering or model/data engineering roles.
• Advanced Python coding skills (Numpy/Pandas) and SQL expertise.
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams and mentor other engineers.
• Strong communication skills to navigate client relationships and translate technical insights into business value.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) and ETL/ELT pipeline tools like Airflow/dbt.
