The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Transformation and Change Lead will oversee the implementation of cross-functional initiatives, complex programs of high USD investments that require the involvement and/or impact of more than one function or business unit. The Transformation and Change Lead will ensure that programs are managed holistically and that technology deliverables as well as operational/business deliverables are met.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Set up and launch the program/project, working closely with key stakeholders across business, technology, and other functions (TCD and non-TCD) on program charter, structuring (including Agile product teams), milestones, project planning/roadmap, and KPI definitions.
- Establish governance structure and onboard project sponsor(s).
- Work closely with workstream leads, business product owners of agile teams, and other project managers (including GT project managers) on execution and monitoring against milestones, KPIs, and budget (including savings tracking).
- Identify key change management steps throughout the project lifecycle and ensure that change management activities are appropriately followed to ensure the success of the program.
- Involve Change Management Expert as needed.
- Identify and formalize key issues and risks.
- Drive resolution and escalate key decisions to the appropriate governance committee.
- Manage overall communication to all stakeholders (program sponsors, Steering Committee, AXA XL Project SteerCo, AXA Group SPC where applicable, Business Engagement Leader/Manager).
- Drive internal initiatives to build, expand, and strengthen the program management capability throughout the organization.
- This includes establishing key program management frameworks, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and providing training.
- Share expertise on program execution by partnering with other transformation and change managers to facilitate cross-pollination of knowledge.
- Bring focused technical or topical expertise and knowledge to the team.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior colleagues to develop their program management skills, share knowledge and experience, give feedback, and create learning opportunities.
- Offer coaching on specific program assignments.
- Expected to lead large-scale programs independently.

Weβre looking for someone with these abilities and skills:
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale programs across multiple dimensions (lines of business, geographies, or functions) and complexity.
- Knowledge and significant prior experience working in an Agile environment.
- Proven mentoring skills and experience managing through influence and coordination with senior stakeholder teams.
- Previous experience in internal or external consulting is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and presentation skills, with experience communicating with senior management.
- Strong business acumen combined with technology knowledge and expertise in the software development lifecycle to challenge business demands appropriately.
- Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills to drive alignment with various stakeholders.
- Proven negotiation, influence, and creative skills to achieve successful outcomes around scope, schedule, costs, issues/risks, and resources.
- PROSCI certification or extensive experience in change management is a plus.
