Software Engineers at V7 ensure that complex operations involving visual data can be performed smoothly through a high fidelity web interface at large scale. About the role: As Product Engineer (Frontend), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products. You will work within a cross-functional team, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality and intuitive user interfaces. You have extensive experience with Vue.js, React or similar toolkits, and vast exposure to working with highly interactive web platforms.
What you will be doing:
- Work closely with the Head of Design, focusing on designing highly responsive and carefully crafted front-end experiences for our AI products.
- Collaborate with the product and design team to translate product requirements into scalable and performant frontend solutions.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience for our customers.
- Implement and maintain frontend architecture, ensuring code modularity, reusability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to implement and maintain automated testing processes.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in frontend technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Contribute to the overall product roadmap by providing technical insights and recommendations.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years experience as a frontend focused engineer.
- You are a strong design and usability focused front-end engineer, with a strong portfolio that showcases skills in developing interactive applications.
- Proficient in Typescript and Vue.js or similar (React is also fine).
- Solid understanding of responsive UX/UI design principles with excellent attention to detail for product component design.
- Obsessed about testing at different levels: unit-, integration- and end-to-end.
- Previous background as a designer, or ex-creative (by education or craft) would be a huge plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
