We are looking for a dynamic Global Director of Sales, promoting our Luxury and Lifestyle brands in Northern Europe, with a primary focus on the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Scandinavia. Responsible for growing business from existing luxury partners (including consortia and travel advisors) and generating new business to maximize transient revenue, profits and market share within the luxury & lifestyle segment.
- Business development / prospecting in the region.
- Actively engage with luxury travel agencies identifying new opportunities, providing assistance, training, and overall support.
- Develop account strategy and activation roadmap, marketing & sponsorship activities and client presentations.
- Promote the Accor Preferred Partner program as well as the HERA Travel Advisor loyalty program in the region (enrollment, training, engagement initiatives).
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual account reviews and market action plans.
- Provide expertise and support to hotels in developing luxury sales strategy for accounts and region.
- Maintain an up-to-date database for newsletters distribution and communication.
- Actively research new B2B opportunities in driving revenue and brand awareness.
- Lead and participate in relevant tradeshows, conventions, famtrips and industry events.
- Become a brand ambassador and embody Accor's values in every client's or co-workers' interaction.
- Manage and optimize budget approved for the region.
- Engage on Social Media platforms and identify opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience in luxury hospitality sales.
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality or equivalent.
- Expertise in International Luxury Hotel Programs & Luxury Consortias.
- Excellent relations in the hotel/hospitality industry.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (knowledge of second language is a plus).
- Deep understanding of account management.
- Knowledge and understanding of sales procedures associated with the hotel industry.
- Strong IT skills (Office 365).
- Understand & promote all selling tools & loyalty programs.
- Understand the fundamentals of implementing AI tools for project management workflows.
- Familiarity with basic AI applications in streamlining work processes.
- Experience with a hospitality CRM.
- Focused, analytical and goals driven individual.
