Our client is a leading Manufacturing company. They are looking to hire a Senior Contract Manager (Interim) to support clients and commercial account development across American geographies. This is an interim contractor role for 12 months. This role will be focused on contract managing a collection of clients, encompassing contracting activities, creating business proposals, contributing to bids/tenders, deal making / creating new business deals, handling contract interpretation and challenges when issues arise. You’ll get involved with providing continual guidance, assistance and training to more junior colleagues. All of your efforts will support client negotiations to a successful conclusion, driving continued commercial success across the accounts you’ll be leading. Support will be provided by your line manager and a wider collaborative team across the commercial function. Characteristics & Skills Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others. Steps up and can lead themselves. Committed to the highest standards. Have an eye for detail. Show concentration and focus. Proven experience of working with the US Government is desirable.
