Your New Role:
- Coordinating and Managing Claims – From instruction to settlement, you’ll handle property claims of varying complexity, ensuring accurate and timely progression of each case.
- Assisting the Loss Adjuster – You’ll work closely with a field-based adjuster, supporting them with report writing, evidence collation, customer updates, supplier liaison, and follow-ups.
- Client and Customer Liaison – Acting as a key point of contact, you’ll engage with policyholders, contractors, and insurers to ensure smooth and transparent communication throughout the claims process.
- Documenting and Reporting – You’ll ensure all documentation, photos, reports, and estimates are correctly recorded and submitted in line with both regulatory and internal standards.
- Scheduling and Coordination – You’ll help manage appointments and visits for the adjusting team, ensuring workload is prioritised and efficiently managed.
About You:
- Claims Experience – You have experience managing domestic property claims and understand the technical and emotional aspects of helping customers during challenging times.
- Customer-Facing Exposure – You may have previously visited or inspected properties, or supported others in doing so, and feel confident engaging with customers both remotely and face-to-face.
- Strong Communication Skills – Empathetic, clear, and professional in your interactions, you know how to make customers feel reassured and informed.
- Detail-Oriented – You take pride in accuracy, whether preparing reports or reviewing estimates and policy details.
