Here, the Procurement Technology team provides end-to-end IT support for the Group Procurement business (including Business Solutions, Architecture, Project Delivery, Service Management, and Service Operations). The key focus of the team is to support the implementation of SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass application enhancements.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be an integral member of our Engineering practice. You will provide core technology and domain expertise to inform technical strategy and be responsible for the design of solutions for complex challenges within GCS Business Platforms. You’ll have a strong risk mindset and take a security-from-the-first-line-of-code approach. You will guide those around you to invest in their own engineering craft and mentor them to build and operate world-class applications.

Skills Required
This is a highly technical role, requiring a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. You’ll be a good match if you have previous experience in:
- Building and operating applications both on-premise, in cloud environments, and SaaS. You will be familiar with any of the following: Frontend: React, Angular; Backend: Java, and Ajax; Database: Experience SQL and NoSQL experience (both admin and usage); CI/CD tooling (Git, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Prometheus, Grafana, ServiceNow, etc.) or equivalent.
- Have solid hands-on experience with integration tools and frameworks e.g., Autosys scheduling, SFTP, APIs (including skills like Open API, Redocly, Swagger, Kong, Akamai).
- Desirable: Knowledge and experience with SAP Ariba, SAP FieldGlass, and/or Procurement Applications.
- Infrastructure as Code practices and principles.
- Decomposing complex problems down into manageable components.
- Able and willing to participate in hands-on configuration activities.
