We are on the hunt for a talented Software Developer to support in the development of high-availability sortation systems, mission-critical material flow controls and automated guided vehicles. You will be working as a Software Developer for a market leading supplier of integrated warehouse automation solutions. Duties of a Software Developer: * Conceptual design, commissioning and documentation of customised material flow and warehouse management solutions for customers * Connection to ERP systems e.g SAP R/3 (WM/EWM) * Service and extensions of existing systems * Preparation of cost estimates for implementation of the design extensions * Supporting the software helpdesk service team * Travel will be required for 10-20% of your working week to support customers Skills and experience required of a Software Developer: * Qualification in a computer science field or Programming courses * Working on databases such as Oracle, SQL-Server and ideally the Entity Framework * Knowledge of C#, Visual Studio, .Net * Network knowledge (Ethernet, TCP/IP) * Effective communication skills as this role involves collaborating with colleagues and external clients.
