As a Support Worker, your work can be life-changing, enabling individuals to live independently, explore new opportunities, and improve their overall quality of life., As a Community Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide personalised support, assisting individuals with tasks such as cooking, cleaning and managing their daily activities.

  • Help individuals live independently in their homes and participate in community life, including attending college, gaining employment, and engaging in social activities.

  • Support service users in achieving their personal goals, helping them develop life skills and build confidence.

  • Encourage and empower individuals to take control of their lives, offering guidance and support as needed.

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to improve mental well-being.

  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of the individuals you support.

· No Experience Is necessary,but preferred – all that is necessary is a passion for helping others. – Training can be provided

· Ideally, 6 months’ experience in care or similar roles.

Training

Not required as mandatory, but preferred,

· Care Certificate

· Valid Mandatory Training

· Basic Life Support Training

· Moving Handling Training

Skills & Qualities

· Care and Compassion! (Required!)

· The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Good problem-solving and time management skills.

· Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience.

  • Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence

  • Access to Own Vehicle, * Healthcare: 1 year (preferred)
