Siemens Energy UK Ltd supplies innovative products for the energy industry to ensure the safe operation and monitoring of power systems and equipment in the UK. We are also the global center for AC offshore substations, providing solutions for Siemens Energy worldwide. In addition, we collaborate with Siemens Energy in Hamburg to develop and deliver DC projects in the UK.
The Site Manager is responsible for coordinating all site-related activities within project boundaries. This role represents the project site to customers, authorities, and consultants, leading all aspects of employee and customer happiness.
How I will make an impact:
- Ensure strict compliance with occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations and promote a Zero Harm/Tolerance Culture on site.
- Legally responsible for the project site and all site staff, supporting line management with personnel development.
- Coordinate on-site order implementation, financial results, time schedules, and quality results related to Siemens Energy's scope of work.
- Provide regular site progress reports and coordinate corrective measures, cost-evaluated risk mitigation, and opportunity schemes.
What you'll bring:
- Knowledge of Construction / Commissioning processes and methodologies for EHS, technical- and commercial topics.
- Good understanding of contract management, cost estimation and cost controlling.
- Expertise in managing relationships with collaborators and customers.
- Great intercultural skills, with advanced coaching and mentoring abilities.
- PM certification with good site management/construction knowledge.
