The Role...
We are seeking an experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for managing the reservations process and operation, as well as coaching and motivating the team to deliver quality guest service and meet financial targets. The Reservations Supervisor oversees all reservation bookings. Including day-to-day operations, the Reservations Manager is also an ambassador for the Soho House brand and fully embraces our ethos, supports staff, member and guest experience.
Main Duties
- Liaising with central reservations to communicate new rate plans and promotions
- Maintaining the in-house reservations systems
- Manage the daily operations and efficient running of the Reservations Department
- To demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Hotel systems to include and not limited to Opera ORS, Opera PMS, CRM, etc
- Assists in answering any member or guest queries via telephone or email
- Processes reservations from the sales office, other hotel departments, and travel agents
- Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout
- Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans
- Communicates reservation information and all special requests to the front desk
- Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk
- Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows and communicates information to guests
- Prepares expected arrival list for front office use
- Updates member and guests' profiles
- Handles daily correspondence
- Responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed
- To be aware of all front office procedures
- Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management in any other areas of the house

Expected working hours for a Reservations Supervisor:
Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes. Average hours 40 hours per week. Subsidised transport rate offered from: Chipping Norton (OX7) & Banbury (OX15 & OX16).
