Interim Budget Analyst - 6 Months FTC initially with the potential for longer
Location: London, hybrid working 2 days per week in the office
Salary: £65K - £75K + excellent benefits
Our client is an established consulting firm with ambitious growth plans. This role reports in to the Head of FP&A and has a wide ranging level of responsibility and is primarily responsible for the delivery of the budget.
Key responsibilities:
- Support in the delivery of the Budget and Forecast, providing support to budget owners.
- Updating Oracle EMP with budget records for Income and Expenditure for analysis and reporting for all business areas.
- Provide detailed analysis of Trends and variances.
- Assist in the preparation of the Budget consolidation reporting for review.
- Support in the preparation of the rolling forecasts.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required to support the business and present key findings to drive data-driven decisions.
- Analyse and report on key business performance drivers to identify trends and opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Qualified Accountant e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc.
- Experience of Budget cycle – end to end (revenue, expenses etc).
- Cash flow experience / CAPEX.
- Strong Oracle system knowledge, ideally Oracle PBCS.
- Oracle budgeting & planning experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel specifically, financial modelling, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts.
