We are currently seeking a qualified Solicitor to assist DWF with matters relating to MPS (Medical Protection Society) work. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical negligence or professional indemnity, with a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape within the healthcare sector. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception to resolution.
- Provide expert legal advice on clinical negligence claims, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating case documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and experts to gather information and evidence.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
What will help you succeed in this role?
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 years' PQE in Clinical Negligence. (Experience of Claimant and Defendant work are welcome)
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
