Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a rapidly growing PE-backed buy-and-build B2B business, seeking an exceptional Divisional Finance Director to join as a strategic partner to the executive team. This role will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the business's ambitious growth plans.
In this pivotal position, the Divisional Finance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimising financial performance. They will also play a key role in formalising a Senior Leadership Team that fosters accountability and collaboration. The role involves leading the finance function, managing complex projects, and working closely with the Group to align financial objectives with wider strategic goals.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience as a Divisional Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, or Head of Finance in a B2B project-based business.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with strong commercial acumen.
- A hands-on leader with a track record of scaling businesses and driving transformation.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making at the highest level.
