As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and refining the backbone of our products across a diverse spectrum of projects, leveraging a rich tapestry of tools and technologies that define the cutting edge of our industry. This role offers a hybrid setup, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in our London office.
Responsibilities:
- Your responsibilities will be multifaceted, encompassing the development, management, configuration, and automation of systems and services within the dynamic landscapes of AWS and Azure.
- Collaborating within agile, specialized teams, you'll infuse your expertise into projects, whether working independently or fostering fresh ideas to propel our endeavors forward.
- Your adept prioritization skills will ensure seamless integration into broader organizational goals, addressing immediate challenges while advancing our collective progress.
Candidate Requirements:
- To excel in this role, you should bring a wealth of experience as a DevOps Engineer, ideally experience building software applications.
- A background in infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Cloud Formation) and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) approaches.
- Alongside your deep understanding of large-scale continuous integration systems CI/CD (e.g., Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory).
- Deep understanding of build systems.
- Tracking and resolving dependencies.
- Experience with rolling out incremental, backwards compatible changes to a deployment process.
- Python coding skills, familiarity with the Linux command line and shell scripting.
- Strong Git command-line skills.
- Experience in migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud.
- Good knowledge of basic networking and security concepts.
