Pyrford Lakes, in Woking, is seeking a Deputy Clubhouse and Events Manager to join our team. As the Deputy Clubhouse and Events Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clubhouse, leading and organising our many events and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will assist the Clubhouse Manager in managing day-to-day operations, events, supervising staff, and promoting a positive sales focused, engaging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Clubhouse Manager in overseeing the overall operations of the clubhouse.
  • Plan and coordinate all major events.
  • Supervise and train staff, ensuring they provide excellent service to members and guests.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Help manage inventory, stock control, and ordering to maintain appropriate levels and minimise waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organised clubhouse, ensuring a welcoming environment for members and guests.
  • Support the Clubhouse Manager in planning and executing special events and promotions.
  • Address member and guest concerns and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a clubhouse or hotel setting.
  • Prior experience coordinating large events.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including ordering, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle customer concerns with professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
