Description and Requirements
Exciting opportunity in our Channel Marketing Team - join us as a Global Channel Marketing Senior Events Manager and work on the most important events for a technology giant!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create excellence through a series of global channel events.
- Create the vision for our Lenovo 360 Accelerate global channel events driving a premium event experience.
- Work with different stakeholders, global and local as well as third-party agencies to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Create internal comms & briefing documents.
- Create sponsoring packages alongside our ISO Channel Alliances team to secure and manage sponsor participation.
- Manage sponsoring package execution and proof of execution.
- Create event project plans and track execution through Monday.com.
- Support other global channel events as needed in support of the Lenovo 360 plan execution.
- Act as an ambassador for global channel marketing working collaboratively and building strong relationships across the Business Groups, Geo Marketing and Channel Teams.
- Work in partnership with the broader ISO Global Channel Team to execute on the Lenovo 360 vision.
- Manage 3rd party agency relationships to maximize performance and successfully achieve plan execution.
Key Skills:
- 12 years B2B Channel event experience is essential in either a vendor, reseller or distributor in the IT sector.
- Experience of project management including budget management & business review processes.
- Previous experience of working in a global marketing role preferred.
- Strong team player with experience of working in a globally dispersed matrix organisation.
- Outstanding attention to detail when managing multiple projects with excellent organisation & planning skills.
- A flair for event execution with an eye for delivering high quality experiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in managing executive leadership attendance and speakers.
- Strong communications (both written & verbal) skills.
