Support Worker British Sign Language Required – Independent Living Location: Newcastle Hourly Rate: 14.54 Full-Time – 24/7 Shift Patterns – Days, Nights, Weekends Are you passionate about making a real difference in people\’s lives? Do you have British Sign Language BSL skills and a genuine desire to support individuals to live as independently as possible? We are recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider offering Independent Supported Living services to adults with physical and/or learning disabilities. If you\’re looking for meaningful, person-centred work where your compassion and skills are truly valued, we want to hear from you. What You\’ll Do: Support individuals with personal care needs, household tasks, and everyday life skills. Promote choice, dignity, and independence, helping people lead active, healthy, and socially engaged lives. Assist with mobility, communication, medication, and community activities. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and landlords to ensure holistic, high-quality support. Maintain accurate daily records using digital tools e.g. \’Nourish\’. Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control best practices. Actively support new staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
