As an Accounts Assistant based in Ripon you’ll be responsible for:
- Ensuring all required month end inputs are processed accurately and in line with the month end timetable
- Supporting the team in identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities and communicating this to management on a timely basis
- Responding effectively to information requests from the business and responding to queries from branches on their branch accounts
- Preparation of management accounting and financial reporting within agreed deadlines
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 5.00pm or 8.30am – 5.30pm.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Finance experience, with an interest in further personal development which may include professional studies (AAT/ ACCA / CIMA)
- A keen interest in finance with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and V-lookups is desirable
- Ability to manipulate data and work with large complex data sets
