Ingredients & Soft Commodities Procurement Manager Responsibilities:- Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable ingredients sourcing.
- Identifying and evaluating alternative suppliers to boost resilience and business continuity.
- Leading contract negotiations to secure the best terms and long-term partnerships.
- Working closely with internal teams, including NPD, to drive innovation with new ingredients.
- Embedding sustainability into procurement strategies, focusing on ethical sourcing and environmental impact.
- Keeping up to date with market & commodity trends, pricing, and advancements in sustainable sourcing.
- Driving process improvements for more efficient procurement and supplier collaboration.
- Using data and analytics to inform purchasing decisions, reduce costs, and enhance operations.
- Ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate records of contracts and supplier performance.
- Proven experience in procurement within Food & Beverages, FMCG or Manufacturing.
- Experience in sourcing / procuring sugar, cocoa, flour, palm oil, flavours or ingredients (highly desirable).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive self-starter with a passion for food & beverages, commodities, NPD, innovation and sustainability.
